Filled with good vibes seekers from all over the globe, the Montreal Youth Hostel is a melting-pot of everything travelers are looking for in a youth hostel.

First, we are centrally located in downtown Montreal where all the action is. Even on week nights, the night life here will please everybody from the dancer who wants to dance the night away to the pub-loving bloke who just wants to throw a few back! Did we mention that we have no curfew? We?re also just a stone throw away from the Bell Center, home of the famous Montreal Canadians hockey team.


We will welcome you in English or French and if you are lucky, you might even be checked-in in Russian, German, Cantonese, Mandarin, Polish, Italian and Japanese, of course it will depend on who?s working on your arrival day!

The hostel staff forms a great big funky-friendly family that resonate with the electrifying rhythm of our city! We will be more than happy to give you tips on what?s going on in Montreal, on where to go out and on how to say useful stuff in French or even better? where to eat the best poutine in town! Prepare your liver it will be a meal to remember!

We also organize lots of activities like our everlasting bar tours, our recovery picnics, bike tours, Sunday's Tam Tam on the mountain and so much more depending on the season.

And yes? maybe you heard it already? we are classified as one of the top 10 youth hostels in the world for the quality of our service and, additionally, we have been awarded the top prize at both the Regional and National levels of the 2005 Quebec Tourism Grand Prizes, in the 50-149 rooms category. But please be reassured - it hasn?t gone to our heads!!
