With free internet and computer use (there is a computer in every room!), a large kitchen, free pancakes and pasta, great common areas and a very nice, knowledgeable staff it is hard not to like this hostel.

My comments on this hostel

Right in the middle of Venice beach, a block from the beach this is a very well located hostel. I was surprised and pleased to find a computer in the dorm room when I entered. It was high-speed which made me even happier. The dorm room I stayed in was a ten bed dorm that was clean and well kept. The dorm had it's own bathroom (it was clean) with a shower. I was able to look out the window and see Venice beach (about a block away). There was only one other person in the dorm so I lucked out. The staff were pretty friendly and laid back. They offer free pasta for anyone to use and free pancake mix. The kitchen was large and had four refrigerators. This is a very good hostel that most people would enjoy I would classify it as a backpackers hostel that is laid back and cool. They have a pool table and some big common areas where people could hang out.
