Overview

I had a really good time here, there were so many people that it was easy to just talk and hang out. I like all the common areas this place has. There was also an in-house comedy show going on in the main area the night I was there.

I drank alot while here, and found out one bummer thing about this place - distance to beer. Beer is a few blocks away, so plan your evening well. (You can walk, it really isn't that far). If you are part of the group who is drinking and socializing into the wee hours of the night, they have a cool closed off "party room" (it is also a quiet place to read all day, but at night... party). Some hostels in Los Angeles hardly have any common areas for people to hang, but Orbit hostel has many...

Room Details

Private rooms have a comfortable queen size bed and TV, some having sunny balconies and high ceilings, or a beautiful view of the West Hollywood Hills and Melrose Avenue. Dorms have 4-6 per room, all with closet space, shelves, and their own private baths and showers. They are clean and well kept.
