THE BLUE LAGOON ROOM
Calif. King size bed
overlooks the Blue Lagoon.
Opens onto a large covered lanai with nice easy deck chairs. The lanai also overlooks the Blue Lagoon and the Pacific Ocean.
It can accommodate either one or two people.
THE ALOHA ROOM

2nd floor, does not have a lagoon/ocean view. It does have new carpet and fresh tropical paint.

THE CAPTAIN'S CROWS NEST
It's a little room, a little adventurous. Best views at the Kauai BeachHouse, Blue Lagoon, Pacific Ocean, and Mts. Waialeale and Moalepe and a near 360 degree view of our side of this emerald green island. There is an outdoor open roof shower adjacent to for your use that we let other guests use during the day after about 8:00 am. King size bed, no frills, just enough room to walk on side of the bed but it is really neat.
It can accommodate either one or two people.

THE OHANA FAMILY BUNK ROOM (WOMEN'S SMALL DORM)
2 full size and 1 single bed.
There is a TV lanai with cable TV on one of the 2nd floor decks.
THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS BUNK ROOM
4 bunk bed sets with 8 extra large full size beds, all with complete privacy curtains.
This room and its half open/half covered veranda overlooks the Blue Lagoon.
THE ROYAL HAWAIIAN QUEEN ROOM
1 Bunk set of 2 full size (double) beds.
It overlooks the Blue Lagoon and the Pacific Ocean.
This room has walking space around the bed only. Guests normally relax on our decks or head out to see the island or walk along the lagoon and nearby beaches and do not stay in their rooms except to sleep at night, day nap, or change clothes or read privately. This room has 2 entries. One entry opens onto a large covered deck that overlooks the lagoon/ocean and another is inside the bldg and goes through the Royal Hawaiian King Room. The Queen Room is on the first floor which is about 5' off the ground. There is parking in the back behind the deck.

We offer quality hostel prices. We provide a tropical paradise island experience with all the essential facilities for all travellers: Sun, sea and good times; and clean and safe accommodations!
Besides looking down onto the Blue Lagoon from our first and second floor Lanai's (decks) you can also see Ocean, Mountain, Volcano, and Island views from our other Lanai's and verandahs. As well you can often see in the winter whales leaping out of the ocean on the far side of the lagoon and see them spouting like ocean geysers right in front of the Kauai Beachhouse.
Lagoon and Ocean views are seen from all the private rooms and dorms; except 2 private rooms do not share these views. You can also see the local fishing fleet pass in front of the BeachHouse going to and from the small boat harbor (Waikaea) adjacent to the right of the Blue lagoon.
Only a small grassy play or relax area sets us apart from the Blue Lagoon directly in back, and to the left a free neighborhood swimming pool laps on the edge of the Blue Lagoon, while a white sandy swimming beach is just a 100 yards to our right, over a little sugar cane train railroad bridge, this beach is set behind the Kapa'a Library.
The swimming pool is a 1 minute walk north, while the sandy beach is less than 2 minutes walk south from the Kapa'a Kauai BeachHouse. Our Blue Lagoon is sometimes like a natural swimming pool, and sometimes it can be quite active and asking experienced people about its activity prior to entering is important.
The (Kapa'a) Kauai BeachHouse has a basketball set up on our concrete parking area, which reminds me to tell you that we have unlimited parking in back of the building when our parking lot is full. We have work out gym equipment with dumbbells, olympic weight set, bench press, lat machine, and leg sled. We have volleyball, badminton, and soccer set ups in our huge grassy yard. There are lagoon and ocean front walking and bike trails that pass our building; and it is only a few minute bike ride to our local fishing, swimming, surfing, body boarding, and picnic beach.
We have a Secure room for valuables.
We have Kitchen & laundry facilities ($2.00 per wash load, includes laundry soap)
Free use of quality bedding linens and towels.
Cable TV, Videos, volleyball, BBQ, table games.
Close to shops and restaurants, a grocery store is across the street.
The Island's Kauai Bus stops out in front of the Kauai BeachHouse.
