| | The Wang Fat Hostel - Hong Kong Welcome to our budget hostel. We established our services in 1980.
We have just completed renovation with new decoration and facilities to deal with the rapid increase of customers from all over the world.
Our hostel is located in the downtown prime shopping district area of Hong Kong Island - Causeway Bay - where you can find many departmental stores like Mitsukoshi, Sogo, Seibu, Fashsion Island etc, plus many local speciality and designer shops and arcades.
For dining - you have more choices than department stores. Just a few minutes' walk you can enjoy a deluxe dinner in a high class chinese restaurant or in a 5 star hotel. Alternatively Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC are all local.
Many 24 hour shops, bars, supermarkets, restaurants, internet cafes are nearby.
For transportation - just a few minutes' walk - you can catch a bus (to airport & etc.,) or take the subway (underground railway system - known as MTR in Hong Kong ) by which you can go to most of the interesting places and sights in Hong Kong.

This excellent 50-room series of hostels is just about the best deal in the territory. Rooms with shared bath / private bath. It's quiet and clean and each room has a private phone, TV and fridges and air-conditioning. There's also free Internet access.
The affable owner speaks good English and Japanese and can organize most anything for you.
