!!!Attention!!!: Castelfiorentino is situated in the Florence area, about 40 km from the city center.

The Youth Hostel of Castelfiorentino, which was inaugurated in March 2000, is located in a quiet area in a residential part of the town, close to several sport centers. The structure of the hostel is modern though the central building, which has been skillfully restructured and extended, dates back to the nineteen twenties.

In the foyer are the reception area and conversation corner. Close to the foyer are a wide dining room and other rooms for the comfort of our guests such as a reading room, conversation area, breakfast room. All of these look on to a beautiful internal courtyard paved in terracotta.

Most of our bedrooms provide four beds, while some of them have a private bathroom.

Outside the hostel are wide garden-terraces and a parking area in a tree-lined square opposite the building. The local railway station, on the Firenze/Siena line, is only 700 metres away.

The position of the town of Castelfiorentino in the heart of Tuscany makes the hostel the ideal base from which to visit the major art cities as well as less known towns of historical and cultural interest.

We are members of 'Hostelling International', so it's compulsory to have a HI's membership card ( you can even buy it here, Euro 3,00 per night ).
