Super location in the heart of downtown Budapest, cheap prices and friendly atmosphere!

Our hostel can be found on the second floor of a typical Pest downtown building in the pedestrian zone of Budapest city centre. It has a total of 6 rooms on 150 m² and can accommodate ~20 persons in 2-3 bedded private rooms and dormitories with 4-8 beds. Our hostel also has 2 bathrooms with toilet, well-equipped kitchen, living room, reception and storage room.

Friends Hostel can be found in the very downtown of Budapest, right at the corner of the famous pedestrian shopping street (Váci utca) and Haris köz with easy access from international train/bus stations and airport. Nearby you will find clubs, discos (FAT MO’s, Living room, Desperados etc.); cultural sights (Basilica, Parliament, Old market hall etc.). The spectacular Danube Corso (Danube bank) is app. 100 m from us.

Friends Hostel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, clubs, pubs, cafés, shops, but you can find internet café (50m), money exchange (30 m) and laundry within a short walk as well.

We provide:

-City maps (we give city maps to you free on arrival)
-Travel services (we can help you arranging excursions in or outside Budapest, walking tours, boat trips, activities like paintball, Gokart, folklore show, caving, wine tasting, pub crawl, walking and biking tours and much more (please let us know your request well in advance – if we know in time that more people would do the same program, the prices are much better – furthermore some programs need a min. number of participants).

Please note:
You cannot check in before 09:00 and later than 22:00
(on the date of your arrival)- when you get your key, you can arrive and leave any time!

Please try to keep your estimated time of arrival, because there is no nonstop reception and we are not 24h in the hostel.
We are in the hostel for sure from 1 hour before your estimated arrival and wait 1 hour after your estimated arrival. If you can not keep this time, please inform us by e-mail or call us on the day of your arrival.
