The Sweet Garden House opened in 2005 and is in a traditional Beijing Hutong offering you one of the best value in Beijing. The hostel is clean and nice and has 24h service. It is located near many famous attractions, sites and shopping centers and has excellent transport faculties nearby.

The Sweet Garden House is located in a nice, quiet and very comfortable Hutong courtyard. The courtyard and Chinese-style garden has been recently renovated and offers an authentic traditional Beijing lifestyle lodging at affordable if not hard to beat prices. The Sweet Garden House is conveniently located in the Dongcheng District of Beijing. The Sweet Garden House was opened by creative people who have been in the hostelling and touring business for many years and have combined their shared knowledge to offer you, the guest, the best possible service.

The Sweet Garden House has new, nice, tidy and clean facilities & equipment. There are in total 20 rooms with air-conditioning, including single rooms, double rooms, four and six person dorms. Each room is equipped with a security alarm, fire alarms and electricity plugs. On each floor there are clean toilets, showers and washing rooms. There is also the reception room (lobby), Internet access, a kitchen, laundry room, TV area, public telephones (also for international calls) and the peaceful rest area in the garden.

If you book 3 or more nights online we will offer free pickup from the airport (only 30RMB for the highway toll is paid by yourself). Other pickup points are possible - please contact us at least 5 days in advance.
If you don't want to use public transport or on a tight schedule then you can also book one of our tourist tour packages a trip to the Great Wall with a hike from Jinshanling to Simatai, the Great Wall at Simatai or the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace and others. Our hostel staff can also book your next hostel or train/flight tickets for you.

Our helpful staff will always be ready to help you have the best possible time in Beijing which is why the hostel has staff on duty 24 hours per day, which also means that there is no curfew or lockout. Your room can be opened for you at any time of the day.
