Beijing Far East International Youth Hostel, accepted as one of the best hostels in Beijing, is situated in a preserved and protected Hutong area, typical local residency neighborhood, 10 minutes' walk away from the alleyways to Tian'anmen Square, Qianmen Business center and forbidden City. The well- known Liu Li Chang Cultural Street is only 5 minutes walk. The hostel was the former residence of a warlord in the beginning of the last century.
It is in a traditional Chinese courtyard attached to the main building as a comfortable hotel and the courtyard are built in the style of Qing dynasty, quiet and comfortable. You can take a traditional rickshaw or a self-guided map tour to explore the area. Many of the historical attractions including Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Liulichang (Antique Market) and Former embassy area...

Shows of Beijing Opera, Chinese Acrobatics, Chinese Martial Arts( Kungfu)...

There are Two restaurant in the hotel serve both Chinese and western style meal.10 --15 yuan/person breakfast(US,UK,Switzerland,Continental style) are well arranged in the courtyard restaurant.The buffet breakfast on the 1st floor in main building are very popular. Also there is a coffee bar on B floor where you can log on internet,listening music,watching video and TV program while enjoy your coffee.

The 29th Olympic game will be hold in Beijing in 2008. from now on we are start offering plenty of information relating hotel reservations, rate, travel and game before and during the Olympic game. We can take you to all major tourist sites in Beijing and anywhere you wish to go, taking you to or pick up from the airport at any time. For more information and the service, please contact us by email or telephone 24 hours before your arrival.
In order that you can get to the hostel from the airport hassel free, We now newly set up a very reliable airport pick-up service taking you all the way to the hostel without any problem.It costs 150RMB per car with max.3 people with luggage from 8:00am to 11:00pm. For other time it costs180RMB MAX.3 people. The above rate includes high way toll and parking fee.
For the service, please contact us in advance (at least 2 days) with information of your departure city, arrival time, flight number and your names.
You can also take shuttle bus from the airport to XI DAN (the building of Civil Aviation Administration of China), it costs 16 yuan, then take a taxi to our hotel (taxi fee is around 15yuan). if you have any problem when you arrived the airport or XI DAN, please make a phone call to sally or jason.
we also have free pick up service at XI DAN the terminal of No.2 shuttle bus(8:00am--7:00pm), what you need to do is take a shuttle bus No.2 from the airport to XI DAN, right after get off at XI DAN terminal, make a phone call to our hotel to asking for a free pick up service, both inside the ticket building and roadside you can find IC card phone. then just waiting for us at outside the door of the ticket building. somebody will quickly get there to meet you and guiding you to our hotel.
