There are many hotels here who say they have beds for 20 dollars but in reality they are "ensuite" which means a four person room is really 80 , these are great deal for people traveling in groups or with a couple of friends. I am only listing a couple of these, the first five hostels listed here are the real deal, the price is what their dorm beds cost. It is almost impossible to beat the location, price, and fun of Backpackers Athens Hostel, they are the Twizi! recommended hostel in Athens. They cost 30 dollars, which as you know is more than we usually list, but they are the best value. | Zorbas Hotel, 10 Gkyilfordou St. |  | Zorbas Hotel is located on Victoria Square, in the heart of the city's National Museum area. Cafés, restaurants, nightclubs, shops and galleries, not to mention the National Archaeological Museum, are all within easy walking distance from Zorbas. The Acropolis, Plaka, Likavitos and the National Gardens are all also only a short walk away.
